MARRIED AT KNIGHTWICK

Mr. Ted Morris - Miss Kathleen Elizabeth Joan Cooper

A members of the staff of Knightwick Sanatorium, Miss Kathleen Elizabeth Joan Cooper, married Mr. Ted Morris, son of the late Mr. Alan Morris and Mrs. Edith Morris of Bridge Cottage, Knightwick, at Knightwick Church.

Miss Cooper was born and educated in Wales, and Mr. Morris was born, educated and works In Knightwick.

The bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Mr. Thomas John Ormond of Wales, wore a white brocade dress of classical design and carrried a bouquet of pink carnations.

She was attended by her sisters, the Misses Gertrude and Mavis Cooper, her niece, Miss Lorraine Davies and the groom's niece, Miss Karen Morris.

Best man was Mr. Walter Morris, groom's brother of Worcester.

The Rev. Oliver Davies, Rector of Knlghtwlck, conducted the choral service. Organist was Mrs. John Walker.

Forty guests were present at a reception at the Talbot Hotel, Knightwick. Mr. and Mrs Morris will live at Knightwick.


I was in the choir that day [Philip Holland] you can just see me to the left of Rev. Oliver Davies.

Ted was also the brother of Tom Morris, who married Winifred Adams in 1926. Their daughter was Jessie Audrey Morris and she married John Baillie. Their daughter was Heather Dawn Baillie, who I [Philip Holland] married and our children were Richard and Alex Holland.
