There is never a mention of a William Bayliss! he is 19 years old, which would match up with John Bayliss 9 years old in the 1891 census. This will be William John Bayliss, also called Jack.

Their daughter Ruth is back home.

Their Son James Bayliss married Amy Jones in December qtr., 1903.

This grave stone is at St Luke's, Ullingswick, Herefordshire.

John Bayliss married Anne Bowen, March qtr., 1865, in Bromyard, Herefordshire. [Some census forms spell Ann without the 'e'.]

One of their children was James Bayliss.

James was married first to Amy Jones the daughter of Benjamin and Caroline Ellen (Bishop) Jones, of the Burghope Inn, Pencombe. Amy died in 1913.

James remarried to Sarah Wilkes in 1918.
